My birthday was two weeks ago, and no one remembered. I keep telling myself that I don't care, but it kind of hurts, you know? I hoped Tracey at least would remember. Well, it's not like we're really friends outside of... so I guess it isn't that unusual. Jamie was still in the hospital. I went to visit him a few times. I was really worried about him. Why was I worried? I don't think I want to get that introspective.

In the last mail from Mother, she mentioned that Sugar is becoming quite senile. I just hope that Sugar will make it until we make it home. I know that even if she doesn't, your gift will always remind me of her.
